Parents know the unique panic that sets in when your child escapes your attention momentarily and goes 'missing' in the middle of a busy shopping mall or park. The Bible Story uses as we begin exploring our next Momentum focus “Humble Empowerment” tells of the time tween-age Jesus goes missing for three days! Even Mary, the woman chosen by God to birth & raise the Savior, has moments that humble her as a parent. Jesus is not missing or lost, he is right where he is meant to be: in God’s House soaking in the Word of God. And that is the Good News: God is never missing or lost, even if we find ourselves searching & seeking, God is right where God promises to be: right beside us!
