Advent 1: A Place for You in God's Story


A sermon by Randy Gehlert on Luke 1:26-38.  Welcome to advent.  God doesn't ask if we want to participate in His story.  Being "highly favored" is troubling.  God has been talking about this plan for centuries.  If God can manage a cosmic plan, He can handle your immediate concerns.  The virgin birth.  God is using even you.  What to do - do what God has already told us to do and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit from there. 2 Samuel 7:11b-12, 16 Daniel 7:13-14
