Fred talks about the first time he heard a radio program back in 1920, after announcing that this is National Radio Week, a celebration of radio's 25th anniversary in broadcasting.  Fred and Portland visit Allen's Alley to ask, "Are you doing your part in the Victory Loan Drive?"  Guest Martha Raye joins Fred in a play called, "Mash Notes."
