Lester Del Ray is a cut above the rest

After Carl Sagan and PKD, Lester Del Ray is the finest wrangler of golden age science fiction. his character's conversations have life to them, unlike so many other older science fiction stories where the dialogue is wooden and crammed to the brim with expostulation.

There are no gay orgies in this story. People who believe in the government telling you to wear mask are pro science. They are also pro LGBTQTIA+. Since there are no gay orgies in these stories, they are logically anti-LGBTGTIA+ and hence Anti-Science. QED
