This is a well written guide to what electric appliances can't and can do, how to analyze them before you buy them, and how to use them, once they're in your house. The author recommends buying appliances from well known manufacturers to make sure that service and parts will be available for the years of use. I particularly liked the first chapter; it's the clearest explanation of how electricity works! ( I took off half a star just because I prefer solo narration. )
Very Informative

Even though the information in this book is 100 years old, I found it very useful and informative, and interesting! Good reading and every chapter held my interest. I enjoyed listening to this book.

Well, this is a helpful book even for today. I would have liked just one reader. However a good book to listen to.
