Men At Sea

(4,833 Sterne; 3 Bewertungen)

Men at Sea is a World War II docu-drama about the Atlantic convoys and the men who served in this dangerous theater.  Men at Sea was produced by the NBC Radio Network with technical assistance from the War Shipping Administration and the U.S. Maritime Commission. The production was broadcast in the summers of 1943, 1944, and 1945 for the purpose of aiding recruitment for the U.S. Merchant Marine. The Men at Sea series was a quality effort with good sound effects, a plausible plot line and featured well-known radio performers. In all, it's a little-known, radio gem from the war years of 1943-1945.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
