Gelesen von Simon Evers
William John Locke
The book concerns the tangled lives of four people: Zora, a young widow who seeks some purpose in her life; Septimus Dix, an other-wordly but kind-hearted inventor of hopeless things; Clem Sypher, a larger than life businessman who is convinced his quack remedy will save the world; and Emmy, Zora’s younger sister, a rather flighty actress. EXCELLENT STUDY
AVID READER
One of the most offbeat books That I have ever read. At the same time it is one of the most satisfying. It started slowly, but it built to a fine finish. As always, Simon Evers always enhances a novel.
Don’t miss
Compulsive Reader
I find it interesting, that, after listening to several books by William John Locke, it is difficult to get into the books at the start, but after a few chapters that changes. Stick with him. He writes with such feelings, so different than most of the authors of our time. Mr. Simon Evers’s narration is excellent as usual, thank you, JK

Didn't particularly like any of the characters, but I did laugh aloud several times, and Simon Evers makes all the difference: one of the best readers on here.
