Kenn Crawford
Off the coast of Nova Scotia on a remote island, a lonely scientist, a powerful computer, a simple mistake. Unleashes a new threat, somewhere in the hills of Margaree.
"Dead Hunt" is Kenn Crawford’s chilling tale of a desperate father’s undying love, a daughter frozen in time, and the small group of teens trapped in the aftermath.
"Everyone makes mistakes. Some are small, some are bigger. My father’s mistake, born of an innocent heart and fueled by sadness, was the greatest mistake. Some thought the death of his little girl drove him to the point of insanity; some thought he was trying to be God. But, this is not how it happened. The truth is, he wanted to save me. To give me life. And, in doing so, everyone was doomed." ~Robin
Dead Hunt is narrated by R.E. Chambliss (Dreaming of Deliverance), and features the voice talents of: Kimi Alexandre, Brian Brown, Ry Stevenson, Melissa Bartell, Erk and Kim Butler with special guest appearances by Andrew Ball, Arlene Radasky, Judy, Kristopher Lamont, Lindsey Burns, Lisa Tobias, Neil Stringer, Nobilis Reed, Randall Carruthers, Tom Storms and Featuring Rick Stringer of Variant Frequencies as the voice of Professor Patrick Heslin, and introducing “Robin” as herself.
"I was positively terrified while reading Dead Hunt."
-Holly Christine, the Pittsburgh Books Examiner
"I found Dead Hunt to be an imaginative, enjoyable read with a clever twist at its conclusion."
-Claude Bouchard, Author of Vigilante
"Your dialog’s natural and well done."
-Winslow Eliot, Author of The Bright Face of Danger

Hey Ken, I've emailed about a half a year back or so, but I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoy your book. 1st, 2nd, and yes, even a third time through. I've managed to convince a few of my Zombie-loving friends (3 to be exact...) to download the free ...

After all of the years of watching zombie stories on TV I was a bit apprehensive about listening to a podcast zombie novel. Well I am glad that I did! I drive a truck for a living and I search endlessly for stories that help the miles melt away and ...

Great book. I listened to it and got a friend to listen too. We were excited by the ending. And we are waiting for book 2. We were discussing "Gundlach's law" the other day after our conversation ended up on your book. Gundlachs law states that as a conversation progresses ...

Think of every aspect of a B rate zombie movie and you will find it in large doses within this podcast. You have a group of teenagers, comprising of cheerleaders and American footballers. The girls are hapless and only good for screaming and throwing themselves into the arms of the beefcake that is there to save them from themselves, I guess! Whilst the podcast is reasonably produced, the delivery is often flat. It gets worse when you come to the boy girl interactions, as they become vomit inducing! I really wanted to like this book as for all the start was lousy, the middle bit was okay. It never really developed on from that though and had a lousy ending.

Just listened to the story in one sitting, and I don't do that often. It was great! The characters, voices, sound quality. Very very good. A compelling story that keeps you listening. You can tell that a lot of care and attention has gone into the story and the production. ...
