Reading that fits the text

(5 stars)

This seems to be the perfect English reader for this text. It's read with the kind of masculine tone that the text carries. It feels like you're receiving instructions from a war general.

Excellent reading voice. Good rhythm to speech and enunciation. Bob Neufeld has a voice and speech pattern that somewhat reminds me of Ian McKellen.

Definitely one of my favourite books

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.

Well-read, surprisingly short

A classic book, it’s very short and easy to listen to. This reader suited the text.

I know what to do when I take over my country.

I had no idea The Art of War was such a short book. Felt like I was listening to a bullet list PowerPoint of pure strategy, delivered by an English general, that had no time for wasting energy. Love it.

I’ve read the text several times over the years-each time noticing something “new”. This audio version is very well read; tho I think one must listen to it several times to most benefit. At least that’s the case for me…

Should be Version 1 , it is easily the best

Truly magnificent and wisdom filled, one must listen to this quite a few to truly grasp it, I've a couple times more to go.
