I live in the Ozarks so I've been looking very forward to this one. It's the worst in the series so far. At least someone other than Thad gets to win a contest or save the day in this one. Based on the description, it takes place just east of Joplin. Couple of issues with the story. One, the ranchers described the boys as being from back east but they are from Missouri, which is where the story takes place. After looking it up, Chillicothe is actually due north of the area of the story so they are neither East or West of home. Two, Walter was sent on a vacation out west for his health because the Missouri climate was bad for him, yet here se are again in Missouri

Great narrator. As good as Zane. I had just been in the Ozarks. They described the area to a T. I am going to now go back and find book #1 and follow thru on series.
