H.G. Wells' classic science fiction-fantasy story, in which a scientist known only as “The Time Traveller” tells the tale of his journey to the year 802,701 A.D. and beyond, where he witnesses the end of human civilization as we know it, as well as the beginning of the end of the world. Still one of my favorite stories. Well read.

so boring

the reader did an excellent job but the story was quite boring and I'm not a fan of it being told in past tense by another person. I listened to it because I had seen the movie. no idea where the movie came up with everything. The main character was also really full of himself. Made it hard to care about what he says.

an amazing reflection on what can happen if man does not review actions and put it in context as to how it affects nature in its entirety. the mental capacity of h g Wells to tell the story in a way that is entertaining and believable leaves me and awe
