Neat story

(4 stars)

This is a neat story. The only grouch I had was some of the chapters are hard to listen to due to tinny recording sounds, but otherwise, it is very interesting. The background of the story this tale is based on is also very interesting, so I highly recommend taking a moment and reading it. http://www.law.northwestern.edu/wrongfulconvictions/exonerations/vtBoornSummary.html

fantastic!

This was a great story! The readers all did so well, and the mystery was intriguing enough to keep me listening without stopping at all. This is admittedly one of Wilkie Collins' shorter stories, but it is a great introduction to his style, for those who have never read or listened to anything by him before.

READER'S DIGEST MEETS WC

(4.5 stars)

WC always gives a nice finish to his stories, and this one is no exception. But, it is hard to believe that he wrote anything this brief.

"worst... vacation... ever!" -Mr. Lefranc

(3 stars)

Just because it's based on a true story doesn't make it a good story. A skeleton of a story with no meat on it's bones
