Reviews

(4.5 stars)

excellent narrative novel concerning a maternal love.

(4.5 stars)

There is much food for thought here. It grabbed my attention and held on. I think I'd like to live in the society that put more emphasis on choosing the higher road.

Puzzled

(3 stars)

The story was a little meandering and the ending was quite abrupt. Not my favourite Edith Wharton novel but the reader, Jacquerie, is superb. Thank you

Amazing Story

Wharton has a way to grab one's attention and keep it. Excellent story and an exceptional narrator. Thank you LibriVox.
