Bold Venture
Slate's Stolen Identity
by
Bold Venture follows adventurer Slate Shannon and his young ward, Sailor Duval, as they navigate life and danger in Havana. Slate runs a hotel and charter-boat business, but the pair’s island home brings them into contact with intrigue, crime, and people whose troubles can quickly become their own.
The program is an adventure drama built around the partnership between the worldly, resourceful Slate and the spirited Sailor. Their exchanges give the stories a lively personal center, while the Havana setting provides a backdrop of waterfront activity, local color, and shifting dangers. The episode title points to a case involving Slate’s stolen identity.
With its blend of suspense, action, and character interplay, Bold Venture offers a compact escape into a world of boats, hotels, and mysteries. Slate’s steady confidence and Sailor’s independent streak make their relationship as engaging as the adventures they face.
