Music We Love
Aida Triumphal March
by
“Aida Triumphal March” is the musical selection identified in this entry for Music We Love. The title points to the celebrated triumphal march from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Aida, a grand orchestral piece associated with the opera’s ceremonial procession.
Listeners can expect a music-centered radio presentation rather than a spoken story. The selection offers a chance to hear a familiar operatic work in a broadcast setting, with its stately rhythms, bold brass, and sweeping orchestral sound at the forefront.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
