BEHIND EVERY GREAT MAN....
AVID READER
A most unusual plot. well developed and excellently read. The author seems to be able to describe accurately the feelings of a woman in love, but who believes her love not reciprocated. It is a fun tale as we see more truth than fiction in the strong guidance of Sally in Don's success.
Great great story Read by a pretty voice

A slowly unfolding story— like the Secret Garden or any story of a life moving towards health from fog or confusion—it sounds nerdy but that just depends on whether the writer is any good. I never heard of Frederick Bartlett but he’s a good man!
Very enjoyable

Very well read, enjoyable story. Broadly predictable but not the details. Likeable characters that you want to cheer for. I may well listen to this one again.
What a treat!

Like reading a good book, listening to one also lets me enjoy the story & forget about things around me. It's relaxing & can just be a heart felt or exciting or something like this. Enjoyed & learned a bit about early 1900's once more

Smart girl meets boy with potential. The simple observations make this book the gem that it is and allows the reader to fall in love with the main characters. Can still taste those egg sandwiches and eclairs.
a love story
Suzie
Sweet and romantic story of rich boy meets poor girl. Perfect reader for this story. The author has great insight into a smart capable woman’s assessment of her chances in the business world before “Women’s liberation”.
Cute Story

This was so nice to listen to! I usually listen to stories in order to get to sleep and found that I stayed awake because the story was captivating. The reader, ashleighjane, does a wonderful job.
