(20 Episodes) "Gasoline Alley," with its comic book kickoff, was successfully radio broadcast, with sponsorship by Autolife Sparkplugs and earlier by Skeezix Sweaters. The 1948-49 syndicated series Gasoline Alley, featured a cast of Bill Lipton, Mason Adams and Robert Dryden. Sponsored by Autolite, the program used opening theme music by the Polka Dots, a harmonica group. The 15-minute episodes focused on Skeezix running a gas station and garage, the Wallet and Bobble Garage, with his partner, Wilmer Bobble. I enjoy this show a lot, But i cant 5 star it because of the quality of the sound. Does any one have a better sound or at lest know where to get it??
